Seattle, WA, October 28, 2024 – No on 2117 today released “NO-vember,” its final ad of the campaign to defeat Initiative 2117. You can watch it here.
The 30-second ad features Washington firefighters, a farmer, trucker, small business owners, physicians, a commuter, and a Tribal leader. It is backed by a seven-figure buy and will run statewide through Election Day.
Nearly 600 organizations and the majority of federally recognized Tribal Nations have endorsed the No on 2117 campaign, including firefighters, small business owners, doctors, nurses, and public health leaders, labor unions, environmental groups, and community organizations. “Washingtonians across our state are voting no on I-2117 because of the harm it would bring: more pollution and more traffic. That’s why a historic coalition of over 600 organizations are saying no to I-2117,” said Wellesley Daniels, Campaign Manager, No on 2117. “We are going to keep running an aggressive campaign through Election Day to ensure that Washingtonians understand the damage I-2117 would do to their families and their communities.”
